Group Ketamine Sessions
This is a unique program created by Zina Ortiz to provide a successful and affordable ketamine treatment option for the Denver area.
This program couples orally administered ketamine with lightly structured group psychotherapy to help participants create long lasting mood improvements. These groups will include an intention, guided meditation, drums, and ceremony to start. Clients are welcome to bring safe objects to aid in this experience, including yoga mat, pillow, headphones, ear plugs, and the option of having a friend, significant other or family member to support the participant.

GKS is a program developed by Certified Psychedelics Psychotherapist Zina Ortiz LPC, with the goal to help people relieve anxiety, depression, process trauma, and increase motivation for self-care. We will assist in holding a safe space with guided journeys, ritual and the intention to support and develop a deeper connection to one's inner healing wisdom.
Each group session is 2.5 hours long.

In this 6 medicine session series participants are required to be engaged in psychotherapy prior to these groups and follow up with a referral for an assessment.
The assessment is not included in the group package. The assessment and prescription cost are extra and a total of $380. The medicine is a well known off label prescription utilized for the purposes of bringing relief to a variety of diagnoses that include Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Complex PTSD and other mood disorders.
The cost of the group package is $900 (6 - 2.5 hour small group sessions)
Participants will meet on Thursday, May 25th at 6pm for a 1hour video call with Zina for a preparatory session. This is included in the group package.
Participants will bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, headphones, ear plugs, water, and one friend, family member or significant other to help support in this experience.
It is a requirement that participants ensure that a safe driver transports them back to their home. No exceptions.
Group Dates:
Group starts on June 3rd, and follows up every Saturday as follows: June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, July 8th and 15th. We will skip June 1st to make space for the 4th of July holiday.
Our Intention
We will create a safe space to support the relief of symptoms that result from PTSD and mood disorders, using ritual, guided journey and intention.
This group series is meant to facilitate the shift of deeply rooted issues that have been difficult to address in typical therapy, thus accelerating the progress of what has been "stuck" or "immovable".
Meet Your Facilitator: Zina Ortiz, MA, LPC, Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist
Zina Ortiz is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's Degree (MA) in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. Zina has over a decade of extensive experience in the treatment of PTSD, CPTSD, Anxiety and Depression. Zina is also certified in EMDR, Rapid Resolution Therapy, and trained in other methods such as NLP, Brainspotting and Somatic Therapies to help address emotional issues related to trauma from their core. Zina also provides individual therapy as an intensive treatment to address CPTSD using Ketamine as a tool for healing. Zina also integrates her Mexican cultural heritage in her rituals and guided journeys.
